Here's what we were working with - overgrown weeds choking out old rock beds, no defined edging, and garbage cans sitting in a muddy, unorganized side yard. It's the kind of thing that sneaks up on you. You mow around it, ignore it, and one day the whole front and side of the house just looks rough.

We started from scratch. The old rock and weeds came out completely, the area got regraded, and then we built it back up the right way. Bullet edging went in to create clean, defined bed lines that actually hold their shape. Fresh rock followed, along with new plants spaced out properly so they have room to fill in without crowding each other.

The side yard got its own attention too. That area where the garbage cans lived was just a muddy patch - not functional, not clean. We added a paver pad to give the cans a solid, level spot to sit, then ran flagstone steppers from the lawn to the spigots so there's an actual path to get there. Small detail, but it makes a real difference day to day.

End result - the whole exterior of this home reads completely different. The beds are tidy, the plantings are intentional, and there's structure where there used to be just chaos. This is the kind of work we love because it touches every angle of the property and ties it all together. Whether it's a full seasonal cleanup or a more involved landscape maintenance overhaul like this one, the goal is always the same - leave it looking like it was designed, not neglected.
